Hi friend, let me introduce myself!
My name is Maryann. I’m a Christ follower, Wife, and Homeschool Mom of 2 amazing kids!
My family and I (along with our 2 dogs, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs), live on 3 acres in Nova Scotia Canada, where we are growing our homestead and focusing on living a simpler life.
After my 17 year long career as a master hairstylist, I felt called to go in a very different direction. With the support of my incredible husband, I walked away from that lifestyle and stepped into one that I never dreamed I’d be living. To read the whole story of how and why this happened, click here.
Raised a city girl, homesteading was the furthest thing from my mind. But God has been whispering into my heart for a long time preparing me for this journey. And I am so thankful I listened!
For the last few years I’ve developed a passion for homeschooling, gardening and homesteading, and have seen first hand the richness it can bring to a home.
I also feel a calling on my life to speak into the hearts of women about how God sees us, and the beauty of being a godly wife and mother.
